We do what we do because the cause is greater than ourselves, the problem is bigger than one person can handle, so the solution demands all of us.  We give, because we have the ability to make a difference. We have the ability to change statistics.
For The 128 Project, we can get those in need of food for only .19 per pound. It's estimated that one meal that will last us for a day weighs out at approximately 1.5 pounds. You do the math! Below, you have a chance to not only change someone's day, but their week, month, year or a lifetime. A healthy diet creates self-confidence and self-confidence creates a different person. When someone doesn't have to worry about where their next meal is going to come from, they work harder, make better grades, love better, and so much more. All of a sudden, the measly .19 cents that's laying in our car's console isn't so insignificant. 

Let's Have A Real Talk

The short answer about giving to The 128 Project is, our dollar will go farther than your dollar. The reason we ask so much for monetary donations and not canned good or other supplies is because through many of our partnerships, we get things cheaper than what you can buy them at the supermarket. For example, say you go to the grocery store and buy one can of green beans to donate, we can get four for what you paid for one.
